Profile of an XIFM Participant
The XIFM master is designed for professionals in activity - working in the banking and financial service industry, whether they are Islamic or conventional - who wish to reach top managerial positions in the field of Islamic Finance.
Applicants are required to have at least two years of significant professional experience.
The participants should have good analytical capacity, communication skills, leadership potential, and a high motivation.
ESA and RSM welcome applications from BA graduates with a concentration in Finance, Management, Business Administration, Law or Economics.
Applicants should also prove their motivation and eligibility to the XIFM program during the oral selection interview with members of the XIFM admission committee.
Requirements
To be considered as a candidate for the XIFM programme, applicant must submit:
 A completed application form (to be downloaded hereafter)
A transcript and certified copy of your diplomas from the university where you received your undergraduate and graduate degrees.
A Curriculum Vitae .
Pay 150 USD application fees at ESA, office 314. These fees cover the admission process. Application fees are not refundable.
The admission process starts in June 2009. The deadline for admission is the 11th September 2009.
Please note that places are limited. When the maximum number of students will be reached, all applications for the present session will be refused and reported to the next XIFM intake.
Admission Decision
Based upon the XIFM test, the candidate’s record and the oral selection interview, the Admission Committee can decide to:
Admit the candidate; the XIFM degree courses start in February 2010.
Admit the candidate with extra leveling courses in the field of statistics, finance and Islamic finance, organized at ESA between October 2009 and January 2010.
Refuse the candidate.
