To become and to remain, within a complex economic and political environment, not to say difficult, the regional reference in higher education for teaching management, is the task that the Ecole Supérieure des Affaires (ESA) has assigned itself with since its creation in 1996.
ESA offers today training programs which can be easily compared to the best French and European management schools; with its 6 programs, all validated by a second degree from a partner university or Grande Ecole, namely ESCP-EAP European School of Management, ESA has emerged as a major player on the Lebanese and regional educational scene. The expertise of its faculty members, all coming from renowned institutions, and the presence of researchers within its Centre de Recherches, d'Etudes et de Développement (CRED) guarantee the high-level training of its students who enjoy, thanks to the modern and state-of-the-art equipment in the ESA campus, an environment that is specially adapted to their studies and personal fulfillment.
ESA has always positioned itself the closest possible to companies. Its Continuous Training department, SESAME MANAGEMENT SOLUTIONS, works on conveying best practices in governance and management amongst the managers and leaders in the region, by adapting its programs to the requirements of the Lebanese, regional and international enterprises.
Anticipating the needs of enterprises and initiating innovative programs in emerging fields also constitute priorities of ESA which has resorted to a network of experts in order to meet the current and future needs. The best example to that is provided today by the unique expertise acquired by ESA in Islamic finance.
By establishing, as of 2004, AL MULTAQA, the International Islamic Finance Forum, our school has multiplied initiatives such as the creation of the first qualification in Islamic Finance, in cooperation with the Securities and Investment Institute of London, or the launching, next spring, of the first Specialized Master in this field : 2008 will witness the consecration of ESA in the dissemination of the most sophisticated knowledge in Islamic Finance, whether in the Middle East or Europe.
A crossroads of exchange, ESA pays special attention to culture, through various artistic initiatives launched under its label LESARTS. Such activities are a major dimension of our training mission, and contribute in the school’s requirements in the field of excellence and the respect of diversity.
