Job levelling is an analytical process that can determine the relative value of jobs in an organization. It provides a foundation for reward and talent management programs such as base pay, incentive plans, career management, workforce planning, succession planning, learning and development. In combination, the delivery of these programs through job levelling, offers a flexible, adaptable means of communicating career paths, facilitating talent mobility and delivering competitive rewards. This two-day course will provide an introduction to job levelling that will cover concepts, practices and trends of job levelling as well as exploring proprietary methodologies and tool of a global HR consulting firm; i.e. Willis Towers Watson’s Global Grading System and Career Map. The course will also highlight the differences and linkages between job evaluation, grade structure and salary structure. Participants will gain an understanding of the meaning and ways to establish an internal hierarchy of roles and its applications to manage the reward programs.
The module takes place at ESA from 9am to 5pm
